A mixed verdict was reached Wednesday in the trial of a Valencia County couple accused of child abuse.

It was an emotional day in court Tuesday as the child abuse trial that has rocked Valencia County neared its end.

Two unauthorized withdrawals from a county bank account discovered earlier this year.
